This system called WeBTAS (Web-Based Tutoring Authoring System) is reviewed by two different panels of educators and the panels and they report that the prototype system does promote five different learning principles as part of the authoring process.Ī computer laboratory experiment with over seventy subjects supported the hypothesis that a positive learning effect would result from the inclusion of learning principles into a tutorial authoring tool versus current popular HTML authoring tools. To test the effectiveness of this model, a prototype computer system is developed. A model synthesizing both instructional design pedagogy and web-design concepts is proposed.
